My blazer doesn t turn at all in the cold. Starts up fine later in the day in the warm. I m assuming this is my starter. Right?

Did you record this with ur ass? I am a mechanic and thought about sending a video to my rookie friend so he could replace it himself, too bad your video sucks not helpful where s the video off u showing location of starter, unschrewing bolts? ? ? ? It took u hrs to get it out lol u suck

This was pretty much the last repair i did on the blazer, it got a new home shortly after this video. I loved the blazer, just didnt love all the repairs lol. Thanks for watching.

I got a that s prolly going to need a starter is it going to be a pain? Having hard starts and sounds like gears jumping and battery goes low battery s good though. Altanater gets harm sometimes to hot to touch.

Because everything is so tight in the blazer, s world, maybe the hitachi starter is a more attractive option, from a space perspective. Only the s have the additional supports to strengthen the engine and transmission assembly, so i assume there is much more pain in the model. I was wondering if your oem starter had a heat shield and whether you replaced the heat shield on the new unit? I have found if you remove the shield, after removing the mounting bolts, you buy a lot of room.

Lol, bro this is the first time a changed a starter on a modern vehicle. I changed many on late s gm s, minutes to do on a. If it wasnt for all the highway driving i do, i would go back to a gm x pick up with a or, would be a lot less headaches.

Didn t they ever tell you that size dose not matter, as long as it fits in the hole lol. Too bad you didn t live closer. I would have only charged you bucks and taken an hour or lessgrins
