My car doesnt stay still when the handbrake is on. Ive tightenes the handbrake but that didnt work. Do you think it will be the rear brakes?
Hi, great video what is the difference between this and the. Petrol then? Thanks
Does this apply to punto aswell?
My daughter has a mk i punto, but watching this video was still really useful, and saved us a few quid. Many thanks.
Hi very easy and useful thanks but how do i change the rear drum and shoes? Thanks
Very useful for a fiat strada pick up, identical parts too, but maybe you should mention the fact that the brake fluid reservoir has to be opened before forcing back in the hydraulic piston and that the reservoir is likely to spill, so it may be a good idea to reduce the brake fluid level to min before you replace the pads. Also, putting back the wire spring thingy is much easier when the calliper is fixed with the bolts, in stead of dangling from a rope.
Why would you do a brake change whilst it is raining, you should never work on a car only supported by a trolley jack as in the video and you should clean the mating faces of the brake parts before refitting. Probably not a good idea to try and get the new pads in the caliper whilst its hanging better to fit the caliper then put in new pads and rememberto keep an eye on the brake fluid level when fitting new pads and or discs. Always remember to pump the brakes a few times before driving off. All inall a poor video of how to change brakes. .
U chud of used coper slip
Hi andrew fantastic vid, helped me no end, ps have you ever come across hill holder problem on a punto. Jdt, can not find an answer to this problem, have had it reset, but still comes back on
Hi its going back in the garage soon i know its difficult to say what it is but have you any inkling though its doing my head in.
Well done but i wouldn t have changed them in the rain. You are a brave man

Hi bhavin front wheel bearings require a hydraulic press to remove them from the hub assembly, i don t have a press and they are pretty expensive so this is sadly a task i m not likely to tackle
Need to change my front left wheel bearings. Please do post a video if possible. I ll prolly be getting it done outside, but would be good to know how its done.
I generally buy my parts from a national parts company, they are able to take the registration plate of the car and pick out the right parts accordingly
Hi emine we now have a video that covers this check out our channel
